Shani Dosh Remedies or Nivaran

Shani Dosh (Upchar)

The most significant phase in an individual’s life when ruled by Shani is known as Shani Mahadasha. This phase represents specific changes and transformations in a person’s life. Depending on the impact of Shani on the Nakshatra of an individual, different aspects of their life are affected. Depending on the individual’s horoscope, karma and actions, the good and bad aspects of Shani are determined.

Shani Dosh is the malefic effect of Saturn when the planet is weakened or occupies any of the Cardinal Houses of the natal chart. The time period when the malefic effects of Saturn are at its peak due to planetary alignment in conjugation with other planets is known as Shani Dosh.

The ring can be made in gold or silver and should be worn in the middle finger in the morning of any Saturday during Shukla Paksha. You can energize the ring by dipping the ring in milk, honey and pure water and chanting the Shani Mantra. This should be worn only after consultation with an expert.

Rudraksha: An energized 17 Mukhi Rudraksha mala/bracelet should be worn for protection from Shani Dosh. This Rudraksha represents Mata Katyayini, the ruler of Shani. Installing a horse shoe in the home is also beneficial.
